Gray Hair

There are several reasons including:
1. Vitamin deficiency
Any deficiency in vitamin B6, B12, biotin (B7), vitamin D, or vitamin E can contribute to premature graying.
2. Heredity
Premature graying can occur even from the age of 20 years due to genetics, according to one scientific study
3.  Oxidative stress
Imbalances occur when antioxidants aren't enough to counteract the harmful effects of certain toxic free radicals, which are unstable molecules that damage cells and contribute to aging and disease.
Too much oxidative stress can promote the development of diseases, including vitiligo.
4.  Certain medical conditions
Certain conditions, including autoimmune diseases, may increase a person's risk of aging early, as scientific studies have shown a link between hair color imbalance and thyroid disease.
Alopecia also has a role in the emergence of white hair.
5.  Stress
A study from New York University, published in the journal Nature Medicine, found that cells responsible for hair color can be depleted when the body is under stress.
6.  Tint
Chemical hair dyes and hair products, even shampoos, can contribute to premature graying of hair.  Many of these products contain harmful ingredients that reduce melanin.
Hydrogen peroxide, which is found in many hair dyes, is one such harmful chemical.
Preventing and returning early white hair
If genetics or aging are the cause, nothing can prevent or reverse the process, however, treating gray hair can allow hair pigment to return if the cause is a medical condition.
When a vitamin deficiency is the cause of premature white hair, correcting it may reverse the problem or stop it from getting worse
slow down white hair
Sometimes a diet rich in antioxidants can reduce oxidative stress, slowing down white hair.  Example:
* Fresh fruits and vegetables
* Green tea
* olive oil
*fish
* Address vitamin deficiency by eating more foods rich in these vitamins.
